My daughter is 6 and she’s never tried the rollerblades on, so it was a completely new experience and process of learning. After 1 hour of teaching her basics she got impatient and decided to try doing things her own way and she was right to do so. After many falls and slips (thank goodness for the knee, wrist and elbow pads) she was skating perfectly by the end of the day, managing to jump and slow down with the back of her rollerblade instead with the “pizza” method i was introduced to in YouTube videos. She insisted I wouldn’t hold her even when she struggles. At the end of the day she complained about the lack of “butt protectors”, but loved to skate and continues to do so almost daily. I am very pleased to know that she will use them for years to come, since you can adjust them to the feet as they grow. The only problem is that the pink/red colors on the rollerblades are different. I was surprised to see that one is light bright pink and the other is dark bright pink. | |
